Hello! I am Christophe Dethier, a recent Ph.D graduate from the University of Oregon.
My dissertation was in Number Theory, specifically in Diophantine Equations and Computational Number Theory.
I applied the standard methods for Thue Equations to the family of Diagonalizable Forms, with emphasis on computational methods.
I have a paper, Diagonalizable Quartic Thue Equations with Negative Discriminant, which was published in Acta Arithmetica (2020).

Lately I have been transitioning to the profession of actuary.
You can find solutions to some problems I've been working on to study for Exam IFM here.
